This is the awesome flyer for our show tomorrow night at the soapbox. Our friend Karl Kuehn from Museum Mouth is the wonderful artist.
This flyer is for our first HEADLINING show ever, and we couldn’t be more excited!! It’s the first friday of the summer for high school students, and we have some incredible bands opening for us.
Also, we’re very close to having a new single done and releasing it. We love everyone who has supported us and listens to our music, you’re making our dream a reality <3
Busiest Month
April will be Villa Verde’s busiest month yet. Not only are we playing three (potentially four) very exciting shows, but we will also be in the studio recording our debut EP. We also want to thank all of you for your tremendous support so far, we love you all.
Show schedule:
April 4th: Soapbox with Rio Bravo and Heyrocco
April 13th: TWLOHA Benefit at the Soapbox
April 21st: Work on Wilmington reception at Mayfaire
OUR FIRST OFFICIAL RELEASE
We are super excited/proud to release our new single “Polaroid” onto you, the public. We’ve spent a good amount of time self-recording this cut from our upcoming EP. We hope you enjoy it, and that you share it if you like what you hear!
You can download it from our bandcamp here:

Strange Days. Stranger Nights.
That pretty much sums up the show yesterday, and I mean that in the best possible way. It was incredibly fun, and a great experience. We had a blast playing the new songs for everyone, and watching Last Year’s Men and River City Extension was great. We love Wilmington, and everyone who was there last night.

A little about tonight / A teaser
”From our own hometown comes effervescent indie act, Villa Verde. Comprised of Dylan Wilkinson, Wesley Hewett, Joshua Sullivan, the band produces complex rhythms and catchy melodies. Villa Verde will surely attract attention as the opener of this Soapbox show, presented by Gravity Records.”
-Encore Magazine about the show tonight with Last Year’s Men and River City Extension.
We are incredibly excited to play tonight and we’re kind of overwhelmed with the support we’re receiving.
Also, we have some big news to be announcing soon. Stay tuned for the release of Polaroid and more!

Here’s the poster for our show on april 5th!
Our friends in Heyrocco are returning from Charleston to blow everyone’s minds again.
And Wilmington’s favorite band, Rio Bravo, are headlining!
